Rebalance of CND Plexigel finish with CND Shellac in Ro-mani-cize. My poor client was munched on by mosquitoes while on her hen do weekend aboard & she reacts really badly to the bites so has some sore looking red wounds on her fingers, bless her. Thankfully she said they don’t hurt.

I did a combination manicure prep with this set & can say we where both very pleased with the end result.

As some of my clients may know as I unfortunately had to cancel on them very last minute, I had a heart attack on 13th April.

I was very lucky to have my Husband with me at the time, who is medically trained to deal with heart attacks, so knew what to do with me & got me help straight away. As a result I have minimal damage to my heart & am expected to make a full recovery. I am unable to work for 4-6 weeks while I recover, so have had to close.

I am aiming to return on reduced hours on 13th May but this will depend on my recovery. Thanks for your understanding at this time.

Along with the essentials, the first bit for my Xmas nail arrived today. Well okay the first bits of what I’m added this year to my already rather large collection of bit & bobs 😂 basically a human magpie at this point. It was black Friday & a really good deal, it would have been rude to have not bought it, well that my excuse & I’m sticking to it 😂

I joined Treatwell in 2020 & when I got the emails about the top rated salon in 2020, I thought it was something they where doing to cheer people up during the tough year because of Covid.

Being a small business I was so happy & proud I managed to meet the high standard required to quality as top rated in 2020. Then again in 2021, 2022 & now to be able to do the same this year as well really does mean a great deal to me. To have been able to meet the high requirements to achieve Top Rated on Treatwell for all the years I have been on their marketplace has made me more happy than I can put into words.

Beetlejuice themed Halloween nails for my lovely client. She brought me in a photograph she wanted me to recreate for her, so I can not take credit for the design.

These were a new set of Plexigel sculpted extensions finished with a section for CND Shellac & Lecentè Glitters & Chrome powder.

This is sadly very true & something the Self-Employed & small businesses experience 😞

Please don’t book appointments only book appointments you intend to attend & give reasonable notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Most businesses have a policy in the regard ie24/48 hrs etc & there may be a charge if you do not give enough notice.

Obviously most self-employed & businesses understand that sometimes emergencies, illness or unexpected things happen outside of your control, so if you reach out to them in genuine situations such as above, they may be willing to wave any fee’s. Xx
