This recognition means a lot, especially knowing it’s been judged not just on what we do behind the chair, but on the full experience we create for our clients. From the feedback shared, what stood out was our professionalism, attention to detail and the care we put into every part of the journey.

More than anything, this is a reflection of our team. A collective of independent, self-employed creatives all working under the Rythm umbrella, each bringing their own style, energy and skill, while supporting one another and holding a shared standard.

Just a little update from .haircut from the other side of the world 🌏

Australia has honestly been amazing. I’ve had the best time soaking it all up and even managed to hop over to New Zealand which was unreal. I’m currently working casually at Brother Wolf here in Melbourne, one of the top rated barbershops in the city, which has been keeping me inspired and teaching me loads… but not keeping me too busy, so I can still enjoy the adventure.

Life here has been hectic in the best way and I’m so grateful for the whole experience. That said, I’m definitely starting to miss home, the Rythm team, the buzz of the shop, and of course all my lovely clients. There’s nothing quite like it.

My travels aren’t quite done yet though… next stop is Thailand, then a quick stop in Bali before I fly back to the UK on the 15th of May. A little final chapter before coming home.

She’ll be offering student discounts and affordable services while she completes the final stage of qualifying as a barber.

A little from Maggie:

Hey, I’m Maggie, born and bred in Bristol, and I’m currently finishing my barbering qualifications at Reflections Academy.

I’ve always loved the social side of barbering, meeting new people, having a chat, and creating a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere in the chair. I’m passionate about what I do and love creating skin fades, classic cuts, and beard trims. I’m looking forward to growing my skills, taking on new challenges, and welcoming new clients to Rythm.

Just a girl with some clippers, making the world sharper, one skin fade at a time.

This May, Daniel and Shaun from Rythm are taking on the Great Bristol Run on Sunday 10 May 2026 🏃‍♂️

One of the South West’s biggest running events, the Bristol Half Marathon brings thousands of runners through the city centre, along the harbourside and past some of the city’s most iconic landmarks… including Rythm Studio. It’s an incredible day that celebrates determination, community and wellbeing.

Running for men’s mental health

This year we’re proud to be running in support of Talk Club, a UK charity focused on improving men’s mental fitness and emotional wellbeing.

Talk Club creates safe spaces where men can connect and speak openly. Every session starts with one simple question
“How are you? Out of 10?”

That one question opens honest conversations and helps normalise talking about mental health, something that still carries stigma for many men.

By taking part in the 2026 Great Bristol Run, we’re helping raise awareness here in Bristol and supporting the important work Talk Club does nationally.

Why this matters to us

At Rythm, wellbeing has always been part of what we do. We’re not just about great hair. We’re about confidence, connection and creating a space where people feel comfortable being themselves.

We see every day how powerful that connection can be. A haircut can lift your mood. A conversation in the chair can lighten the load. Supporting men’s mental health through this challenge feels like a natural extension of who we are as a team.

Physical strength matters. Mental fitness matters just as much.

With over 15 years of experience in hairdressing, Ben brings a highly refined, creative approach shaped by a unique background in precision, form, and structure. Alongside his career in hair, Ben is also a practicing stone carver, a craft that deeply informs his eye for shape, balance, and detail.

Ben trained in both men’s and women’s hair in Bath before moving to London, where he worked alongside some of the industry’s most respected stylists. His experience includes working under a celebrity stylist in a leading salon, contributing to fashion weeks, runway shows, and commercial work.

Known for his intuitive understanding of face shape and lifestyle, Ben creates timeless hair that feels considered, personal, and effortless. He thrives on helping clients step outside their comfort zone, often uncovering a look they didn’t know was possible, but always one that truly suits them.
