After years of having probably the best Bristolian lash tech name in existence (thank you friend from old job who came up with it as a joke!) I’m no longer Gert Lash! Cute is a word I probably use far too much and not in context.. so it only felt right to incorporate it 😆✨

Thanks to everyone who voted for my logo designs! Even after the votes, none of them felt like the me I am now. This feels cute but grown up. Nails and lashes aren’t a long term job for me anymore, but they’re skills I’ll always have and enjoy doing.. but not full time! 🫠

I’ve made the decision to stop offering plain gel colour. I love to be creative and the reason I started nails was purely to just do nail art eventually. With the amazing experience you have all given me I feel ready to take this to the next level!
Booksy will be changing to replicate this and we’ll have new categories to choose from, and a small selection of freebies too!
Plain BIAB will still be available and I have a small range of colours to choose from, with more on the way!

✨ I’m at full capacity! ✨

Can’t believe that after only 7 months of full time, I’m not able to accommodate any new clients. I’ve been struggling to fit in everyone’s infills and working extra, and my work like balance is all out of wack!

Hopefully this is temporary! I would love everyone to be as organised as possible by booking your appointments in good time, so you’re not disappointed.This also helps me plan my month, how much stock I need, plan my breaks or time off and not stress trying to squeeze you all in!

I’ll be re-assessing every couple of weeks and if I can reopen my books- I will!

✨ UPDATE ✨

We’ve all been expecting this news and I’m personally not happy. It feels rushed and a ploy to try and get people back on BoJo’s side.

This eliminates protection for small businesses, puts vulnerable people at risk and is no doubt going to mean everyone is going to continue getting it.

I understand we need life to continue, but how is a mask or 5 days at home going to prevent that? If you have bad flu, it’s likely to would stay home anyway!

Anyways, that’s my two cents! Nothing will be changing in the studio and I’ll continue to make sure everyone feels safe 💖

Hybrids 2.0 ✨

I recently decided to change the curl and weight of the hybrid fans I’m using. I felt the D Curl in .10 was too heavy and not very my style.

So I’m now using the same curl as I do for the majority of my classics, a lighter weight and they feel much better!

Can’t wait to carry on bringing you babes the more natural side of extensions! 💖
