It is Macrocarpa/Monterey Cypress tree for those wondering. 💚 Symbolism behind this tree is interesting…resilience, immortality, remembrance and transition between life and death!

Wanted it much shorter and lighter for a big trip with lots of sweaty cycling!🚵‍♀️
Even hair that can look straight when left to do its thing and lots of weight removed it can become really quite wavy/flicky. 🌊
I think the different movement patterns in her hair are beautiful! 😍

This festive season, help our community Christmas tree shine!

✨ Decorate your own bauble to hang on the tree in Fountain Square, a lovely way to celebrate family, remember loved ones, or honour friendships.

• Decorate it at home with your own special design or message

• Drop off your bauble:
📅 29th November – at the Parish (outside the library)
📅 30th November – at Fountain Square, and see it go on the tree!
