I have had the best 9 months with my little girl Malani and we’ve already made so many memories, you really do see life differently through your child’s eyes and I can’t believe how fast it’s gone! I’ve loved every minute but I am also ready to officially be back at work now. I love my job and I’m grateful and lucky enough to be able to work it around her. My hours and days look very different now and that’s because she is my top priority so I’ll be working Mondays, Wednesdays some Fridays and some Saturdays. I am busy for the rest of 2025 with limited spaces now so send me a message if you’d like to book in, I’ll still be limiting the areas I travel to make sure I can be home in time for bedtime. The craziest 10 days filled with so much love

That’s it I’ve officially worked my last day before meeting my baby girl 🩷 it’s a very strange feeling looking at a much emptier diary than usual for next week but I’m looking forward to a couple of weeks off before she comes.

Thankyou to everyone who has looked after me and looked out for me throughout my pregnancy, and for all the gifts we’ve been showered with. So very very kind of you all 💝
I’ll see you when I’m back in action but keep your eyes peeled for an announcement when she decides to join us (hopefully not quite yet)

I hope you’ve all had a wonderful Christmas and are looking forward to new year celebrations. I’m back on Thursday 2nd Jan to complete my last 10 days of work before maternity leave 🩷

To Anyone who is booked in with me just a little message to say If you are feeling unwell or have anyone unwell in the house please cancel as I am trying to stay safe for the last little bit, lots of people have been unwell over the holidays 😢 but I’d rather know and cancel than turn up and have to leave or feel uncomfortable about staying in people’s homes.

Hope that’s all ok and if anyone does need to cancel please send me a message asap

Our reason why……..

Our family has been massively affected in recent years by cancer
Almost 2 years ago we lost our beautiful nan within only a day of finding out she had been battling pancreatic cancer, then more recently we lost our other wonderful nan who suffered with dementia and in her final months cancer too

Then 2 weeks ago we found out that our grandad now has it, he’s the last grandparent we have left and we are incredibly lucky to still have him and despite being told we only have months left with him we are determined to make it his best.

We decided we needed to give back to a charity who work so hard to research all of the treatments that are now provided and hopefully in the future even a cure for cancer

High hopes is our team name and we are hopeful that one day there will be a cure for cancer and other families don’t have to go through what we have. We know our grandparents will be so proud of us and any contribution makes such a difference to people going through this - we are incredibly grateful for any donations we receive
