Thanks to everyone who’s hit that little ❤️ and continues to support The Beauty Room. It helps you stay updated with availability, cancellations and new appointments, and it means a lot to a one-woman business.

There’s so much more to running a beauty business than the treatments themselves.

Every appointment is supported by hours of planning, admin, cleaning, laundry, stock ordering, training, replying to messages, and all the little jobs that happen behind the scenes. As a one-woman business, it’s a role I wear with pride.

I’ve learned that looking after the business also means looking after myself, so I can continue creating the calm, welcoming space I want every client to experience.

However boundaries are not always easy to keep.

If you’ve ever felt nervous about booking somewhere new, you’re definitely not alone.

Over the last 20 years, I’ve realised that people don’t just want a great result. They want to feel comfortable, understood and cared for throughout the whole experience.

The treatments matter, of course. But so does feeling welcome from the moment you walk through the door.

That’s always been important to me, and it’s something I’ll never take for granted.

A Little Heads Up
As some of you know, I am mum to two amazing teens, and I will be juggling work/home life over the summer while they are off of school.

I am working throughout the summer and already pretty booked up. However I wanted to give you plenty of notice of my upcoming days off, mostly so you know when not to use the waitlist as I won’t be working.

Here are useful things to know about booking in advance too.

👍Online booking is open 13 weeks in advance.
👍Each day another day opens for booking.
👍If you can’t find a suitable appointment, don’t forget to add yourself to the Booksy waitlist - it works!
👍My working hours remain Monday-Friday
Currently no evenings or weekends.

🙌Top tip:
Join the waitlist even for dates that are more than 13 weeks away and be notified as soon as the date opens for booking (no more setting reminders on your phone)

Hi, I’m Rebecca/Becky, owner and beauty therapist at The Beauty Room, in the beautiful village of Wrington, uk!

If I had to describe myself, I’d say I’m down to earth, open-hearted and honest.

My love of beauty and wellbeing started with my grandmother, Eleanor, who taught me the importance of self-care long before it became a trend.
29 years ago, a careers adviser suggested I look into Beauty Therapy, and from then on I knew l’d found my path.

After three years of training, I built my career with prestigious spa brands, travelled to industry events, met my idols, won awards, and became a manager of a luxury spa.

And when my second child arrived in 2012, I chose family life and started building a beauty business from home around my children.

Fast forward to today, and what began as a handful of loyal clients has grown into a thriving business, and I still genuinely love what I do.

My treatments have naturally evolved towards holistic luxury and bespoke facial treatments, and my ethos remains the same;
