Hazel is a wonderful lady with a busy life as a nurse, as well as being a mum of 3!! She wanted something that was a little easier to maintain with softer regrowth allowing for more time between appointments.

We added some depth but kept a nice bright face frame so she didn’t feel too dark.

I love it, she loves it. 💕

So I decided its been a little while since I said hi 👋 and I thought its about time I reintroduce myself here.

I’ve been seeing lots of lovely new faces pop up recently and wanted to pop on here and tell you a few things about me, some a little random, some not so much.

1️⃣ I have 3 lovely young children, so life is always a little chaotic, but also lots of fun. 👦🏽👧🏽👶🏼

2️⃣ I once did the UKs longest and the worlds fastest zip wire!! It was amazing. 🚀

3️⃣ I spent the first 10 years of my hairdressing life testing out many shades of red, pink and purple and loved it. Now I’m loving my light era. 💜💕❤️🧡

4️⃣ My hair is so thick that I normally have a hidden undercut. Most of the time no one sees it but sometimes I go fancy and show it off. 💅

5️⃣ I’ve been lucky enough to do competitions and editorial work with both and over the last 15years and have met many amazing people along the way. The last image is one of my favourites that I have produced. ❤️

I just learned such a great new foiling technique 🤯

So happy I just completed mini foiling masterclass. Its taught me some fab new skills to take forward into my own foiling and given me that little confidence boost that we all need sometimes!

Education is one of my top priorities, especially as I have been away from the salon for a while with the little ones 👦🏽👧🏽👶🏽. I love to learn new techniques and with trends ever changing and a real shift away from back to back highlights its great to have these courses available.

Obsessed with this transformation!!!

My lovely client Ruby came to me with a clear vision and a great inspo picture 🔥. She wanted a bright, clean face frame and more dimension.

Ruby has SOOOOO much hair and there was a fair bit of warmth to her blonde so there were going to be some challenges - but I LOVE a challenge!!

I started with some super fine slices and weaves around the hairline to really make the front pop.

I then highlighted throughout to break up the existing colour and worked through to lift some areas slightly more, whilst adding some depth with a few chunky lowlights.

I did some tip outs just to really refresh and lift some of those warmer ends.

Then it was time for a toner and some conditioning treatment.

She looked AMAZING and was over the moon with her colour.

Just sitting reflecting on how much I have enjoyed being back in the salon these past few months. Its so great to feel like I’ve got a bit of myself back, doing what I love.

I’m still trying to get better at remembering to do the before and after pictures 🤦🏽‍♀️ so here are a few of my faves from the last couple of months.

The sun is shining ☀️ and it was so nice to refresh this colour and see all the tones in the beautiful light. A half head of foils with a combination of bleach foils and natural tones adding some depth as well as brightness. The cut to tidy it back up into a long bob making it look thicker and fuller. 💕

A little colour refresh to tidy the roots and brighten the colour again after 6 weeks of growth. This is also a great example of how different colours can look in different light. From inside the salon to outside in the natural light.
