Let's talk about maintenance.

Dreadlocks maintenance can be different for everyone, because it depends on personal choices. For some it means seeing a loctician once or twice a year, for others it's a routine to repeat monthly, weekly or even daily.

A loc maintenance routine ensures that your locs are well kept by incorporating new growth into the loc.I can't stress enough on how important it is to maintain your locs. Natural or extentions they all need maintenance.

Damaged or broken locs

there are a number of reasons why your locs can break off. Most commonly it can be a result of a poorly done color treatment, side effects of certain medications, an unbalanced diet, stress, even genetics and lack of maintenance. If the base or root of the loc isn't thick enough to hold the weight of the loc itself it will cause breakage or snapping.

Hiya everyone, just thought I'd pop on and tell you a little about myself and my small business.

So I started my loctician business in 2021 because I couldnt find any affordable or local loctician's for myself, i had the idea to teach myself these skills i then realised how much of an art it is to work with dreads and with the knowledge i had learned i decided to create Empress Locks .
My gosh what an experience it has been over the years transforming clients hair and watching them leave the session with a smile on their faces. That's what it is about for me making people feel confident about their hair again.♡

🐈‍⬛️⚰️Today's job was a wicked transformation as I did some maintenance and installed some new dreadlock extensions to fill out my clients hair. Don't they just look fabulous.⚰️🐈‍⬛️
