The government has announced new powers that could see illegal barbershops shut down for as long as a year.

The Home Office said the longer closure periods would allow investigators more time to collect evidence, build cases and identify those behind the businesses, while stopping rogue operators from reopening and continuing unlawful activities.

We have been lobbying government hard on this issue for several months, so we are pleased to see some action.

This week has been glorious ☀️ but I really must stress how important it is to wear sun protection. Not forgetting your hair parting areas that reveal your scalp and higher up the back of the neck to the hair line (and beyond if you have a skin fade) including your ears!!

Better yet, add a hat to protect yourself even more.

It is the norm to apply sun protection to your daily skin care routine and without intentionally stereotyping, I think the majority of men forget to do so, going off what I see on a day to day basis.

So please, for the sake of your future self and family, wear sun lotion daily, no matter the weather.

The girls in the salon are absolutely amazing at taking gorgeous photos of their work and uploading their social media’s…

I got two before pictures and a video of hiding so she could jump out and scare Lee when he came to pick the car keys up (he didn’t even come in the room) 🤣🤣🤣

I’m BACK (almost!) ✂️✨

Been in for a little spruce up today to get ready for my return next Wednesday!

I’ve been a little quiet while focusing on recovery — it’s taken a bit longer than I expected, but I’m feeling so much better and getting ready to return to the salon!

I can’t wait to catch up with you all! The booking system is open so you can book all your appointments 2 months in advance.

Thank you all so much for your patience, support, and lovely messages. The girls have been letting me know you’ve been calling in to ask about me — I honestly can’t wait to be back doing what I love and seeing all your faces again 🤍

Good morning, just a little update…

I’m home now and my wonderful family are looking after me so well. Ethan has given me my blood thinning injection this morning, because we all know how amazing he is! Eric is loving playing doctors and Lee is already shattered 😂
Everything went well and although my body feels as though I’ve been beaten up, I actually feel ok. So I just need to recover and get myself back to my annoying bouncy self 🤪

Well what a week, I am now finished and getting myself ready for Wednesday, I will be back on the 25th March once I’ve recovered. How lovely is this gorgeous care pack I received from one of my little gents? 🥹

I know I’ve told each of you this, but I’m so overwhelmed with the caring kindest you have all shown me! I couldn’t ask for better clients, even clients of the girls in work have commented on how kind you all are to me.

Lee will be off for two weeks after my op so I will take full advantage of this 😈 or he’ll drive me nuts and not do things the way I like them done 😂

I will try and keep you updated on my recovery. Otherwise I will see you all soon. Thank you so much for your friendship and support as always ❤️

I am officially finished for Christmas and currently sat with my little family, watching Arthur Christmas. Lee always falls asleep pretty much within the first 10 minutes of any film 😆
