Day 2 at HairCon Manchester was an absolute whirlwind of creativity, education, and pure texture magic.

My model and I arrived bright and early together, and the entire venue setup looked incredible.

We started the morning by capturing her baseline "before" photos to document the canvas, then headed straight over to the stand to execute our first official look of the day.

After showcasing that first transformation, we took a little break to have a nosey around at the other industry stands to see what the UK hair community is bringing to the table this year.

Then it was right back to business: sculpting her final look at the Innersense stand. I even had the absolute pleasure of doing an impromptu curl refresh for a lovely lady right out of the audience, which was so fun and spontaneous! We wrapped up by capturing the final, high-definition shots of my model's completed transformation.

Sculpting a textured fringe requires an understanding of curl physics, not traditional hairdressing metrics.

Even having my hair washed the conventional way has caused terrible breakage in the past. I feel awful but, I'm simply not brave enough to go through the emotional turmoil that comes with having my hair managed in a traditional way anymore.
