⚽💙 What a fantastic day out! 💙⚽

Last Wednesday, some of our wonderful residents were invited to Chasetown Football Club for a fun-filled day of entertainment and friendship.

There was something for everyone to enjoy, including singing, bingo, plenty of laughter, and a delicious meal shared together. It was a lovely opportunity to get out, socialise, and make some wonderful memories.

A huge thank you to Chris from Chasetown Football Club, Jo Mann, and everyone at the Noel Sweeney Foundation for your kindness, hospitality, and for making the day so special.

Our residents had an amazing time, and we truly appreciate all the hard work that went into organising such a wonderful event. ❤️

🍫 National Chocolate Day at Littleton Lodge! 🍫

What better way to celebrate National Chocolate Day than with a delicious Chocolate Tasting Afternoon here at Littleton Lodge! 🍬🍫

Our residents enjoyed sampling a wonderful selection of chocolates with lots of different flavours to try. After plenty of tasting (and a few second helpings! 😉), it was clear that classic milk chocolate was the firm favourite!

A lovely afternoon filled with smiles, laughter, and of course, plenty of sweet treats.

💜 A wonderful day enjoying the simple pleasures! 💜

Yesterday, our Lifestyle Manager, Jayne, took everyone out to pick some beautifully fresh lavender from the garden. 🌿 The wonderful aroma filled the air as everyone enjoyed spending time outdoors together.

The freshly picked lavender is now being made into lovely handmade lavender bags, ready to hang up and fill rooms with their calming fragrance. It was a relaxing, creative activity that brought lots of smiles, conversation, and a real sense of achievement.

There’s nothing quite like enjoying nature and creating something special together! 💜🌸

Today, our Front of House Manager, Carolann, had the pleasure of visiting the MASE Group at their monthly Alzheimer’s support gathering.

It was wonderful to spend time with such a fantastic group, where carers and their loved ones can come together to socialise, enjoy entertainment, and support one another in a warm and welcoming environment.

Carolann was delighted to chat with attendees about the compassionate care and support we offer at Littleton Lodge and answer any questions about our home.

We were also pleased to be joined by Councillor Andrea Muckley, Tigan from Visiting Angels, and Mel from the Alzheimer’s Society. It was lovely to connect with so many people and organisations who are passionate about supporting those living with dementia and their families.
