Fat dissolving injections can reduce small stubborn areas of fat, with improvements in appearance beginning to show at around 3 weeks. It can take up to 8 weeks for the broken down fat cells to clear from the area completely and for you to reach your final result. Multiple treatment sessions are often needed to get the best outcome and treatment can be repeated 4-6 weekly.

The injections cause minimal discomfort and are combined with a local anaesthetic (Lidocaine) to provide some pain relief post treatment. Most people describe the sensation in the treated area as a little tender to touch, warm and tingly or itchy - a bit like mild sunburn. A little bruising and swelling can be expected, settling within the first week.
