Welcome to Savers FC – Matchday Squad Announcement

After a long pre-season of stock deliveries, mystery tills balancing themselves, and customers asking, “Do you have any more out the back?”, the manager has named her starting XI:

🧢 Captain – Nicky (Manager)
The skipper of savers FC. Controls the tactics, motivates the squad, and somehow manages to solve every crisis before VAR (Very Angry Retailers) gets involved.

🎯 Central Midfield – Stac (Assistant Manager)
The engine of the team. Links defence to attack, keeps everyone moving, and covers every blade of grass when Nicky is busy in the dugout. The ultimate box-to-box player.

⚽ Striker – Mandy
Leading the line up front on the tills. Clinical in front of goal and even more clinical with a barcode scanner. Capable of serving three customers while answering four questions and directing traffic.

🛡️ Centre Back – Jade
The rock of the defence. Keeps the warehouse organised and shuts down stockroom chaos before it reaches the shop floor. Nothing gets past her without being checked in first.

🏃‍♀️ Right Wing – Rosie
Weekend specialist. Brings fresh energy off the bench and causes problems for the opposition (especially when the opposition is a Saturday rush).

🏃‍♂️ Left Wing – Ethan
Another weekend wonder. Fast, reliable, and always ready for a counterattack when the queue suddenly stretches halfway down the aisle.

Makes crucial saves every morning and keeps team morale from completely collapsing.
