Happy New year!
2025 was a busy one for PJD Aromatherapy.
• We celebrated 20 years of PJD Aromatherapy during a weekend of celebrations in July when we hosted 31 of our family members in Cardiff.
• I launched the product arm of my business having successfully completed an Advanced Formulating course, ironic really as I was so bad at Chemistry when I was at school! However, I happily spend time at my blending bar in my Studio (She-Shed) making a variety of bespoke lotions, creams, gels, balms, ointments etc. for my loyal clients.
• The Studio has also been the location for various craft sessions, including Christmas wreath making and, just this week, practising making bouquets and buttons holes with my gorgeous sister-in-law and niece ready for a July wedding.
• As we move into 2026 I am looking forward to starting proper time working hours. I will be seeing hands-on clients 3 days a week and alternate Saturdays.
• Although I am no longer accepting new ‘hands-on’ clients, if you would like to have aromatherapy products made individually to meet your needs I can still take on ‘virtual’ clients and post products to you. If you would like further information I have gone old school and produced a brochure of items I can make and tailor to you, so let me know if you would like me to send you one.
• I have started a WhatsApp group so I can let clients know when there are short notice appointments available and when craft sessions are being planned. Contact me if you would like to be part of that group.
It just remains for me to thank you so much for supporting my small business, I look forward to seeing some of you back on my couch and wish you a very gentle, peaceful and fragrant New Year.

Anyone?
We are looking for a volunteer massage therapist or two to provide massages to parents of children with complex needs at our camps on the 17th August and 24th August.
Feedback from parents has shown us the positive impact that just a 30 minute massage can have on their wellbeing, allowing them to have some 'me time' and a little treat whilst on their camping holiday.
You will need to have your own insurance. You do not need to be available for both dates. Either or both would be great!
We can cover travel expenses.
Please email [email protected] if you think you could help us!

It was exciting getting ready for baby massage this morning. I massaged baby’s lovely mum through her pregnancy so it was delightful to meet Cian plus parents and grandparents to teach them the routine. Nanny and Grandad did very well practising on teddies and the homemade cake was enjoyed by all!
