Hey everyone, hope you’re all doing well!! Through the constant disappointment and disruption of the last year, we have a few things to look forward to, and some real hope of regaining some sort of (absolutely hate this word now!!) normal 🌈🤞🏽

As many of you will know, I took a job in a local doctor’s surgery toward the end of last year in anticipation of further lockdowns. I have been really lucky to have that bit of stability and I’m not ready to give it up yet; which is why I have changed my hours. As always, I will do my best to get everyone in and will do extra lates and early starts where possible 😘😘

As you can imagine, it’s been a busy day preparing to get back to it, so I will be opening all messages and getting back to you all with appointments tomorrow morning 📲🥰

I am not taking booking for new clients until my regular and existing clients are booked in, but message if you wanted to be added to the waiting list! ☺️💅🏽

Personally, I had high hopes for 2020. I was making trips and plans and looking forward to new experiences and making new traditions with my family and sharing old traditions with them too, but for this year it’s gone ✈️🏖🏞🎶🚫 Who knows what the future holds, but all we can do is hope, work and fight for more 🙏🏽💪👊

Coronavirus aside we have had a catastrophic year! Fingers crossed for positive change, peace and progression in 2021 💖💖💖💖💖

🎄CHRISTMAS NAILS FOR LUNED 🎄 Long one, please read if you have time 🥰

Some people can’t see past the “vanity” of the Beauty (and hair) industry, some even thinking we prey on people’s insecurities for a profit, but we do really care about making people love themselves more and feel better after these small treats enhance what nature gave them.

Last night I was gutted. Yes, I was losing the busiest week of my financial year, after salons have taken an absolute hammering this year; with every appointment going straight towards a bill, or stock, or heating, or even the food on our children’s plates. But more so, because I know how gutted so many people will be about missing their final appointment of the sh**est year in my, and many of your, living memory.

I have been treating L for over ten years, we’ve become friends and share a part of each other’s lives at every appointment-we even have our own traditions. I saw her in the appoimtments I made available between 6pm and midnight last night. I asked her today to tell me, for you, what it meant to get her nails done every Christmas (posted in comments) Needless to say I cried 😭😭😭🥰

Who knows when I will see any of you next, but I will look forward to it. I am not giving up and I am going to come back, again, stronger in 2021 💪🏽🙌🏽

Now to enjoy this (forced) time off with my immediate family this weird Christmas 🎄

Rebecca’s soon to be mother in-law and sister in-law, brought her to the salon under the guise of a family pamper afternoon. Little did she know that later on that night she would be made the happiest girl in the world after so much planning from her lovely fiancé who wanted everything to be perfect-even her nails!
