While a glass of prosecco might seem harmless, alcohol before your appointment can increase the risk of bleeding, swelling and bruising during injectable treatments.
Why?
✨ Alcohol can thin the blood, making you more prone to bruising.
✨ It can increase inflammation and swelling.
✨ It may affect your body’s healing response, potentially prolonging recovery.
For the best possible results, I recommend avoiding alcohol for at least 24 hours before and after your appointment wherever possible.
A little planning can mean less bruising, less downtime and a smoother treatment experience overall.

☀️ A little summer availability update ☀️
The school holidays start tomorrow, so I wanted to give you a quick heads-up about my clinic availability over the coming weeks.
To make the most of the summer and spend some extra time with my girls, I’ll be:
✨ Closing every Wednesday and Friday throughout the school holidays
✨ Taking a couple of weekends off
✨ Closing for the final week of August
As a result, appointments are more limited than usual and my diary is already starting to fill up.
