If you've been for a treatment with me, you've almost definitely heard me say this. Somewhere along the way we were led to believe that pain = the muscles being worked on harder/better. But that's not necessarily true.

Have you ever been told to calm down during a disagreement? Did it work? Or did it do the exact opposite?

My sessions are slow and intentional. We create trust and security between us during your appointments, which allows me to work effectively into the areas that need it without you gritting your teeth for an hour or hobbling around the next day.
