Here's a quick guide to help you decide! If you notice fading from sun exposure or skincare products, a touch-up can refresh shape and color. Fading is common with lighter shades or thinner brows.
After 12–18 months, many clients opt for a refresher to maintain definition. If your brows have lost their original shape or symmetry, a refresh can restore contour. Your natural brow growth may shift over time, changing the PMU look. A yearly visit can maintain a balanced, polished appearance. If you’re planning seasonal changes or want to tweak color intensity, a touch-up is a good idea.
Summer sun can dull color, while cooler months may enhance the hue. You can adjust shade depth or warmth to suit current trends or your skin tone. If you’re experiencing uneven fading or patchiness, a professional touch-up can even things out. Small gaps or uneven saturation can be corrected with precision work. Regular maintenance helps keep a smooth, natural look. Personal preference and skin type matter. Oily skin, certain medications, or aggressive exfoliation can shorten longevity.
