A little update to my microneedling protocol 🤍
I’ll no longer be using ice globes or sheet masks immediately after microneedling - and I know this is usually everyone’s favourite part, so I want to explain why 🤍
Microneedling works by triggering your skin’s natural wound-healing response and a key part of that process is inflammation. This isn’t something we want to rush or suppress, it’s actually where the magic happens ✨
By allowing your body to move through this phase naturally, we’re supporting optimal healing, collagen production and overall results - rather than interfering with the process.
Just as I previously stopped applying moisturiser and SPF immediately post-treatment for this same reason. This is simply the next step in keeping treatments as effective and results-driven as possible 💉✨
🤍 BUT don’t worry - you won’t be leaving empty handed.
You’ll still receive a sheet mask to take home, which can be applied 24 hours post-treatment when the skin is ready for hydration and soothing.
As always, everything I do is with your skin’s long-term health and results in mind ❤️
