It’s one of the most overlooked features in facial balancing — but it plays a huge role in how the whole face reads.

Here’s why. The chin anchors the lower third of the face. When chin projection is slightly set back, it can make the nose appear more prominent, shorten the appearance of the jawline, and reduce definition where the face meets the neck. So even though people often focus on the nose or jaw, the chin is frequently the missing piece.

For this client, we placed a small amount of dermal filler to gently enhance projection and improve balance across the lower face.
