✂️ WE’RE LOOKING FOR A BARBER ✂️

This could be for you, or it could be for somebody you know.

I wanted to explain a bit more about the opportunity, so if you’re even slightly interested, give it a watch.

At No Bad Days, I’m not necessarily looking for the barber with the biggest following, the most experience, or a full client list. I’m looking for the right person.

Honestly, I don’t really care whether you’ve been barbering for six months or 30 years.

You might be cutting from your shed at home. You might be fresh out of college. You might be halfway through an apprenticeship. You might have been in a shop for a couple of years and be looking for a change. Or you might have decades of experience behind the chair.

What matters to me is attitude, personality, willingness to learn, and wanting to be part of a team that’s all trying to move forward together.

We’re a fully booked, full-capacity shop based in Upnor with a great team, no egos, and a genuine focus on helping each other grow.

What we offer:

✂️ Flexible working hours
✂️ Strong earning potential (£800–£1,300+ per week)
✂️ A busy, established shop
✂️ Ongoing support and development
✂️ Opportunities to get involved with the No Bad Days Project CIC and paid community work
✂️ A team that genuinely wants to see each other succeed

This isn’t about finding the “perfect” barber. It’s about finding somebody who wants to grow with us and be part of what we’re building.

So if you’ve ever thought about working at No Bad Days, or you know somebody who would fit in here, don’t let this opportunity pass you by.

Drop me a message, send over your CV, or simply pop into the shop for a coffee and a chat. No pressure, no formal interview, just a conversation.

📍 No Bad Days, Upnor, Kent

Please give this a share. The right person might not be looking for a job today, but they might see this through somebody they know.

We’ve got space for one more barber at No Bad Days.

This isn’t high‑street, walk‑in, “next”.
It’s calmer, appointment‑based, and people come here for the space as much as the cut.

If you’re looking for a place that feels more human, have a watch.

If it’s you, hit the link and apply.
If this could be the perfect opportunity for someone you know. Send this to them ❤️

Big moment for the shop and a proud one for Luke too 🙌

A little while back, we were asked to be involved in a project with Melanoma Focus to help raise awareness around skin cancer within barbering. As barbers, we spend hours every day looking closely at our clients’ scalps, necks, faces and skin — sometimes spotting things people haven’t noticed themselves.

The finished book has now been released, and Luke was actually featured inside it as one of the faces of the campaign, which is pretty cool and something we’re all proud of here at No Bad Days.

This isn’t about trying to be doctors — it’s about awareness, conversations, and encouraging people to get things checked if something doesn’t look or feel right.

A haircut can be more than just a haircut sometimes.

Massive thanks to the team at Melanoma Focus for involving us in something genuinely important 🖤

If you notice a mole or mark changing shape, colour, size, itching or bleeding — get it checked.

We did it ❤️

Still trying to take this one in…
Winner of Hair Hero at the Hair Awards 2026.

Grateful doesn’t even cover it. To be recognised by such a respected name in our industry means a lot — not just for me, but for what we’re building with No Bad Days.

Today felt like a real full circle moment.

This morning I picked up this award… and this afternoon I sat down with someone I’ve looked up to for a long time — Stewart Roberts MBE, founder of Haircuts4Homeless.

Someone who’s taken barbering way beyond the chair. Someone who’s shown that this industry can genuinely change lives.

We spoke about everything — mental health, trauma, addiction, identity, the power of a haircut…
Two very open conversations and yeah… a couple tears as well.

Moments like today remind me why I started all of this.

The interview will be out soon — keep your eyes peeled.

Massive respect to Stewart, and hopefully a trip to West Ham soon ⚒️

If I can create even a small part of the impact he’s made… I’d be proud of that.

This is an important one.

From the 1st of April, a new chapter begins for No Bad Days.

We’re launching The No Bad Days Project — a registered Community Interest Company (CIC) that allows us to invest directly back into the community and support mental health in a bigger, more meaningful way.

The shop isn’t going anywhere… but what we’re building around it is about to grow.

This is about creating spaces, starting conversations, and putting action behind the values we’ve always talked about.

Things are about to move a little quicker.

Please watch the video if you’ve ever supported No Bad Days — it explains everything.

Thank you for being part of the journey.

Last night we were finalists at the British Hairdressing Business Awards 2026 for Barbershop of the Year.

One of only a handful of shops in the whole country to make that final… and our little space in Upnor was in the room with some of the biggest names in the industry.

Black tie. Super posh London hotel. Felt slightly too scruffy to be there if we’re honest 😅
But what a night.

It was genuinely humbling to sit in a room full of people who inspired us to pick up the clippers in the first place. To have mental health and community-led barbering represented on a national stage alongside the biggest players in the UK… that means everything.

We didn’t take the trophy home — but truthfully, we’re still trying to work out how we even made the final in the first place.

We dearly missed Connor not being there with us last night 🤍
But me and Luke soaked it all in for the whole team.

Thank you to every single client, every supporter, every conversation, every person who’s walked through our door. You’re the reason we were in that room.

We’ve got two more finals to go.
Another one in two weeks.

Let’s go again.

Scroll to the end to see how the night finished… 🥂
