I (Mark) will be on my travels from Monday 12 January to Wednesday 4 February, visiting Vietnam and then family in Malaysia.

Although January can be a little quieter in the barbers, after the madness of Christmas. It will mean that Alison will be working on her own, and will be busier than normal.

Please be extra nice and sympathetic towards Alison whilst I am away. I will doing my part to cheer her up by sending daily photos of beaches, sunshine and great food.

It is 'that' time of year again. Time to get the eggnog made; dust off the witty Christmas jumpers and buy an £8 Bratwurst at the Christmas markets! It's Christmas!

Here are the John's Barbers opening times. Alison and Mark say "book early to avoid disappointment."

A quick reminder about this Sunday between 11-3pm in the barbers. If you’re looking for some gifts and stocking fillers for Christmas, we may have what you are looking for! There will be the odd glass of wine available, unless Alison drinks it all before then 🤣

We are having a small Pop-up Shop event on the 2nd November from 11am to 3pm, all are welcome. There will a range of our Northern Soapary soaps, candles and melts. There will be locally made decorative festive lights in bottles, bracelets, key-rings… etc
