Nail techs of Cheadle Hulme/Cheadle/Stockport can those of you that have any capacity for new clients please tag yourselves into the comments for my clients/followers to view, as since I’ve announced my closure, I’ve been asked who to refer/recommend to those that offer similar services. After almost 16 wonderful years, I’ve made the very difficult decision to close The Nail Shed 41.

I honestly can’t put into words how grateful I am to every single one of you for your loyalty, kindness and friendship over the years. What started as a small business became so much more — a place full of laughs, chats, stories, secrets, and genuine connections that I will treasure forever.

Being able to work around my family while my children were growing up has been incredibly special, and I feel so lucky to have shared so many moments with you along the way. Now that my children are older and I’ve finally addressed a long-standing health issue, I feel the time is right for a new chapter and a fresh challenge.

Saying goodbye is bittersweet, because I will truly miss you all. But I genuinely hope this isn’t the end of our connection and that we can keep in touch.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting me and my little business for so many years. I feel very proud of what we built together.

Tomorrow is my surgery date, so that’s it from me until February 2026!! Thank you so much for all continued love, support and understanding. Thank you also for all of your lovely and beautiful gifts too, I’ve been overwhelmed with them all!! You’re all so thoughtful and kind.

And so I’d like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! (I’m literally doing the ‘out with old, in with the new’!!! 😂😂😜). I don’t usually do the ‘new year, new me’ rule, but I can actually say it and mean it!!! 😂😂👏

Polite notice : - as I’m fast approaching my surgery date can I please ask my clients who are scheduled an appointment at The Nail Shed to not attend your appointment if you feel unwell, even if you’re feeling slightly under the weather.

This includes, cold or flu like symptoms, sure throat, temperature or feeling sick.

I know this time of year we all would like to look our best and that includes our nails, but I really can’t afford to have my surgery cancelled and re-scheduled if I become ill myself. And I really wouldn’t like to turn anyone away if you arrive feeling ill. So please do let me know.
