And this, boys and girls, is why Chinese nails are so bad. People love them as they're so strong, but when they're that strong there is no 'give' when they get knocked, thus causing the artificial nail to wrench the natural nail underneath, causing horrible damage and pain. The acrylic they use (methyl methacrylate - MMA) should NEVER be used for nail extensions and is actually banned in the US. PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT USE CHINESE NAIL SALONS!!!!
