A crooked horse is an unbalanced horse which, becomes tense and shows resistance. Therefore will not be able to achieve the 2nd element on the training scale: relaxation.
Where do we begin when we start to straighten the horse??? Simply... the rider!

β¨ Riders undoubtedly encounter soft tissue issues at some stage due to either compensatory issues due to previous injuries, imbalance, stress etc
β¨ By treating both horse and rider enables us to put the pieces of the puzzle together to ensure optimal performance from both athletes enabling them to work in perfect harmony.

β¨ The horses body weight is made up of 60% muscle with small muscle injuries taking up to 90 days to become apparent.
β¨ Regular maintenance is a key part of horses health and performance in order to keep the working at their best.
A little bit about what I do...
β¨Combining both equine and human knowledge, I have specialised in soft tissue therapy for both horse and rider to enable them to work in perfect harmony.
β¨Equestrian sport is completely unique as it requires two athletes to work as one. Rider and equine soft tissue therapy aids optimal athletic performance at all levels to focus on all elements of the combination.

β¨Vet Referralβ¨
According to the Veterinary Surgeons Act, 2006, veterinary physiotherapy may only be carried out on animal following referral from a veterinary surgeon, therefore consent from your animalβs veterinarian is required prior to the arrangement of any appointments. This can be done by providing me with yours, your animalβs details and the details of their veterinarian for me to contact on your behalf, or, if youβd prefer to do so yourself obtain written permission from your veterinarian.
