Hi! Little update...

First. Did you know there are BLUE BEES 😍 I discovered this yesterday. Beautiful little carpenter bees native to South East Asia, India and South China!

Also.. the shop on this page isn't working and I can't figure out why. It says 'empty' when in fact there's plenty of items in there. Lots of people have reported it. I'll share items directly on my feed.

💕 H a p p y V a l e n t i n e ' s D a y 💕

I'm not really one for Valentine's day in the sense that it's for couples.. tell everyone you love them! I've been inspired by all the roses everywhere! Last night I mixed up some lovely pink himlayan salt with dried rose petals (from my garden last year) and rose oil to make a lovely luxury bath salt. All completely natural.

I'm going to add little shots of these to the shop soon. They'll be in little reusable glass kilner style jars 🌹🌹

There may not appear to be much going on at the moment, but there is... I've been a busy bee indeed 🐝

I've made lots of batches of soap (ginger, lavender, lemon and aloe vera) and once they have cured I'll update the shop. They'll be available straight away rather than on reserve while they cure.

I've also been experimenting with bath melts and eco candles too! 🍃🕯

Anyone feeling congested this winter? Sinusitis or pain caused by blocked sinuses?

Remember eucalyptus, peppermint and tea tree oil are amazing decongestants. I find so much relief using them. I normally put a little on a flannel or hankerchief, but you could put a few drops in a hot bath or diffusers around your home too 🐨🍃

Olbas Oil is a mixture of these and you can find that at your chemist.

114g of aloe vera gel went into my last batch of soap; extracted from my own plants. It's a lengthy process (this took close to two hours and is 20+ stems) but it's worth it. The soap mix is always noticeably smooth and silky 🍃

The mix had set a little too much before I poured in in the mould so the bars are a little rustic 😅

Remember my post about unrefined ingredients? Well how about this for unrefined 😍 This block of beeswax is straight from the hive, my friend's dad's hive so locally sourced too! It smells amazing 🐝✨

Aloe, aloe, aloe!

So, really excited about this! I've been planning to make more aloe vera soap as I had really amazing feedback about it! I've been waiting for this though.. aloe butter 🍃 It's aloe extracted into coconut. My aloe soap recipe contains pure aloe gel that I extract from my own plants, but I can now replace the coconut oil with aloe butter for added aloe benefits. The outcome hopefully being rapid hydration of dry skin, particularly for those suffering with eczema and psoriasis.

The more aloe the better! 🍃
