Here are my top tips to care for your extensions the right way:

💆🏽‍♀️ 1. Wash Carefully – Don’t Overdo It
Use a sulfate-free shampoo and wash your hair no more than 1–2 times a week. Focus on your scalp and avoid scrubbing the bonds or tapes to prevent slippage or tangling.

💧 2. Moisturize, But Keep It Light
Hydration is important, but avoid oils or heavy products near your roots — especially with tape-ins and beads. Use leave-ins or serums from mid-length to ends only.

🪮 3. Brush Smart, Not Hard
Use an extension-safe brush and always start at the ends, working up gently. Hold the root area with your hand to avoid pulling on your bonds or beads.

🛌 4. Wrap It Up at Night
Sleeping with your hair in a loose braid or low ponytail helps prevent tangling. Use a silk/satin bonnet or pillowcase to keep things smooth and reduce friction.
