Blow-dry advice ⬇️
You spend what feels like ages doing a Blow-dry and within a day it’s flat and frizzy? Here’s my advice💋
PREP :
•Shampoo hair at LEAST twice , if it still isn’t lathering well, go for a 3rd!
•Condition from the ears down, your roots don’t need it.
•Prep your hair alongside heat protectant with something to add hold and tame frizz - my faves are flex pli, queen for a day and oil reflections
BLOW-DRY :
•Rough dry to 70-80% dry before sectioning (your arms and back will thank you, trust me)
•Section no bigger than 2 inches deep and no wider than your brush, keeps in control of your section and dries faster.
•Tension is a must! If you aren’t pulling the hair taut with the brush when drying you won’t be smoothing the cuticle enough to prevent frizz.
Make sure each section is completely dry before moving on , moisture = frizz
FINISH :
•Pin each section as you go to set the hair in the desired shape and also keeps it tucked away whilst you move onto the rest of the head.
•Leave the pins in as long as possible, or at least until completely cool.
•If your hair is prone to going flat , don’t brush the shape out, simply shake your hands through to maintain the volume.
•Texture spray for volume and hairspray for hold, both are a must🙏🏻
•Wear a bonnet to bed to protect your hair from friction and maintain the shape!

I mainly specialise in lived-in blondes and brunettes, but I do enjoy a dabble in to coppers and vivids (ngl I do some pretty tight bobs and pixies too👀).
I love every aspect of what I do, from the big transformations to maintenance appointments, but also having a good natter and a brew whilst we talk about the highs and lows of life or stalk your ex on my phone 🤫.
I’ve got two cat sons Freddie and Sebastian who like to keep me on my toes but bring me so much joy ❤️
Outside of the salon I love to cook for friends and family, getting up and out early to see the sunrise and rewatching desperate housewives for 1078th time xo
