We are now closed for the weekend, I think it’s been 4/5 years since the salon was closed on a Saturday 👀 BUT it’s Meg’s hen weekend 👰💒💍 it’s Lucy’s Birthday 🥳👩‍🦰🧡 and char is in Ibiza 🥳🎉🍾 so we are all having a well deserved weekend off… celebrating! Hope everyone has a great weekend and we will be back in as normal 9am Tuesday 🦋

Joyce is back in her ‘happy place’ 🫶 I was told Joyce decided many years ago she didn’t want a funeral (typical Joyce) so I had the photo printed I think she would’ve loved and a very happy memory for us 💕 our wall…some would say depressing, we say never forgotten 🫶

For the Wednesday clients who had the pleasure of meeting Joyce she passed away peacefully last night in her sleep 🫶🏻 I would say ‘sorry to inform you of the sad news’ but I’m not sorry and I don’t think Joyce would be either she had a wonderful life (I still believe that woman should’ve made her 100th birthday) she never complained about anything, always so positive, had the best story’s to tell, mostly about her family 🫶🏻 but I did get story’s of the war and how they ‘made do’ (still never negative) I’ll always remember after her 95th birthday she bought in her iPad (yes you read that right) scrolling through how special her family had made it for her, I even believe that’s when she wanted her ears pierced again, and got them done! 🫣🤣 I was asked earlier if it had upset me, we’re all leaving this world, what better way for you to leave having had a great, long life, not suffered (that would’ve upset me) and been truly grateful for everything she had and up until very recently still came every week, lived on her own.. what a woman! I only hope I can get to that sort of age and still look as well as Joyce did. Thank you Joyce for choosing us, until we meet again RIP 🫶🏻
