I love chatting to my clients, getting to know them, laughing, sharing stories etc.
But I also love those quiet moments when I am focusing on what to do next, what I want to add and how the final look should be. I also know that the bride needs some quiet time to reflect and rest before the ceremony.
The wedding morning is so busy and exciting. The bride is usually asked a lot of questions like ‘what time do we need to leave at? When are the flowers arriving? Which cars are we going in? What’s your postcode?’ I’ve heard it all and it can be overwhelming.
Often the bride hasn’t slept well the previous night. I always feel that it is helpful to give them some time to just sit and be still. Enjoy relaxing and having their makeup done, not talking and not being asked any questions.
Some brides prefer to stay distracted and talk. That is also ok. Most of all I just want the bride to feel special, beautiful and relaxed.
