This client was thrilled with the extraction, as she couldn’t quite reach it and didn’t want to attempt to.

Applying a needle directly into the centre and applying current, helped take it from rock hard, to more soft cheese and therefore less pressure was needed to extract, causing the least trauma to the skin.

Do you catch your skin tags?

This lovely client came in with skin tags on the inner side of her elbow cubital fossa or antecubital fossa. Or elbow pit.

The skin tags were getting caught and bleeding.

Have you ever wondered what you might look like immediately after a treatment?

Common questions I get asked are: what will I look like immediately after treatment? Can I go back to work? Can I go to the gym? Can I wear makeup? Can I shower?

The above is immediately after treatment of x2 sebaceous hyperplasia and x1 blood spot.

We advise that for the rest of the day no makeup is worn, redness in the area for 20mins to 24 hours and to keep it dry until a superficial scab has formed to seal the area from infection. In most cases, you will leave and be able to return to work/ normal duties. Aftercare lotion will be supplied for post treatment redness and itching.

Before any treatment is carried out, a full consultation will take place to discuss what to expect and answer any questions you may have.
Following treatment a follow up consultation will take place to ensure skin healing and recovery.

| Solar Lentigo |

Also known as sun spots / Liver Spots.

These are caused by over exposure of the sun to the skin. Using short wave diathermy, we gently remove the top layer of skin. The skin will form its own human plaster ( a scab) which will seal the area and prevent infection whilst the skin heals.
Once the scab has fallen off , new skin will form and will be pink. Proliferation and Remodelling of the skin will continue for months.

Please note: the skin MUST be protected from sun exposure, a high SPF must be worn at all times and for full skin recovery, healing will take place over a few months.
