Is PMU for you?? 👇🏼

There are a few things to think about before biting the bullet & getting pmu brows..

What skin type do you have?

Not all skin types are suitable for Microblading - especially not oily skin, the strokes will fade quick & blur and this is what we want to avoid. If you do have an oily skin type the machine method is best for you 👍🏼

Do you have existing PMU?

I can’t/won’t always go over old pmu, I am quite stubborn with this as keep going over trying to make them look ‘natural’ again isn’t the answer - this has the opposite effect and by keep building up the pigment you are just oversaturating the brows & they will eventually need removal 😢

I offer a consultation where we can go through all your options and see if PMU is for you! As it’s not for everyone 🫶🏼

We chose to do hairstrokes with the machine on this time as Microblading can be quite unpredictable in terms of healing - especially with Liss’s busy life style & running schedule!

Why do I go so dark?

This is one of the most common questions I get! When I use Monica Ivani pigments, I shade the brows more saturated at your initial session because your skin naturally heals lighter.

During the healing process, your body gently pushes out excess pigment as your skin regenerates. This means your brows will soften, cool down, and lighten by up to 30–50% once fully healed. What you see on the day is not the final results!

Trust the process:
✔️ Day 1–3: Bold, darker, more defined
✔️ Day 4–10: Flaking + patchiness (totally normal!)
✔️ Weeks 2–6: Colour resurfaces softer and more natural

I will always choose your pigment and depth carefully based on your skin type and your desired outcome, so even though they may look intense at first they’re designed to heal perfectly 👏🏼
