Progress is feeling really slow! But seeing the images side by side is really reassuring that there is a huge amount of improvement and its definitely on its way!

I have been using
- The tolariane range for cleansing and moisturising (so clean and non reactive, perfect for problematic skin)
- Hypochlorus acid spray as toner
- Cicaplast baume as my night cream
- Daily SPF - either rosalique, dr jart or husk and seed depending on the coverage i need that day

Aesthetic treatments so far
- Seventy hyal skin booster to boost hyalauronic acid and deeply hydrate from within
- Polynucleotide injections directly into the problem areas (i plan to repeat these in another week or so)

Slow and steady, but progress over perfection every time!

If you’ve got rosacea-prone skin, keeping things calm, clean and simple is everything — and this has become a staple for me.
Hypochlorous acid (what’s in this) is naturally produced by the body to fight bacteria and support healing, so it works with your skin rather than against it. It’s incredibly gentle, helps reduce redness, calms irritation, and supports the skin barrier — all things rosacea skin really needs.
I just use a fine mist after cleansing, morning and night, and let it dry before the rest of my routine. No stinging, no drama — just calm, supported skin.
It’s not a miracle cure (nothing is with rosacea), but it’s one of those small, consistent steps that really helps over time 🤍

Next step in my rosacea journey ✨
I’m starting a course of polynucleotides (polys) — tiny injectable molecules that work on repairing the skin rather than just covering or calming it.
Polys help to: • support skin regeneration
• strengthen the skin barrier
• reduce inflammation
• improve hydration and overall skin quality
For rosacea-prone skin, this is key. When your barrier is stronger and your skin is less reactive, you tend to see less redness, fewer flare-ups, and better resilience to triggers.
I’ll be treating the areas where I hold the most redness to try and calm things down at a deeper level — alongside everything else I’m already doing.
It’s not an overnight fix (and not a cure), but it’s about building healthier, more resilient skin over time.

The first step of my rosacea repair series - Seventy hyal skin booster! This is the before and 1 week after. I chose seventy hyal specifically for its high molecular weight hyalauronic acid for really deep seated hydration.

As you can see this alone has really started to help settle my rosacea but were by no means there yet! The next step will be a some polynucleotides injected directly into my problem areas, keep your eyes peeled for more info on this next step!

This is one of those products I reach for when my rosacea needs a little extra help. The green tint works instantly to neutralise redness, so my skin looks more even straight away, but it also feels calming and soothing when my skin is irritated as its full of cica which helps repair your skin barrier.

What makes this different from Rosalique for me is the finish and purpose. Rosalique is more of an SPF / makeup hybrid that gives a subtle, natural glow, whereas this feels more like a treatment step — slightly thicker, more targeted, and better for when my redness is more noticeable or i need the extra barrier repair.

It’s not as sheer or glowy, but it’s amazing for those days when my skin needs calming, correcting, and a bit of extra support all in one.

Cosmetics and skin care are one of my biggest triggers! I have an allergic disposition and certain products and ingredients are like a red flag to a bull!

Rosalique has genuinely become a staple in my routine, especially with rosacea-prone skin. SPF is essential for managing redness, but so many formulas tend to irritate my skin — this is one of the few that doesn’t trigger any reaction, which makes daily wear actually doable.
It also does a great job at softening redness without looking heavy or obvious. Because I have slightly olive-toned skin, a lot of “anti-redness” products can leave me looking pale or washed out, but this blends in naturally and evens things out without that chalky effect.
What I love most is the finish — it gives that “no makeup” look with just a subtle, healthy glow. My skin looks calmer, smoother, and more even, without feeling like I’m wearing anything at all
