I had travelled quite far to see Gill and have the full 'Makeover Girl: Reinvent Yourself' experience, and I must say I would travel up again and again and again because it was well worth it! Oh my goodness what a fantastic day!

Gill is one of the nicest and most thoughtful people I have ever met, her insights into this community is unparalleled and this helped me feel calm and at ease during our initial consultation; so much so that it just felt like a chat with a good friend. This was an excellent start to the day.

Gills knowledge on makeup is incredible and she's able to teach as she goes, explains why certain things work the way they do but made it relevant to my face shape, skin tone, features etc.

The end result was amazing, I couldn't have asked for better! I looked so feminine and so different to my male self which gave me such a great feeling for the day ahead. I can't stop looking at the pictures!!

We went out to Preston to walk around the shops and have a spot of lunch, some more shops and trying things on, more opportunities for great pictures, before having a final coffee then heading back to the studio for an outfit change, some lashes and some more pictures!!

The weather may have been awful but I didn't care at all, I was too happy with the whole experience.

I highly recommend Gill to anyone looking for having a day like mine, a makeover at her studio or the community events she attends, or even just to talk to; she's an amazing person and I was delighted to spend my day out in such safe hands.
