This client hadn’t had their hair coloured since June (not by myself). We had a harsh grow out with uneven tone, blocky blonde on top, permanent colour and warmth to contend with.
Stepping away from permanent colour and using a demi allows for greys to literally melt into the colour. This also softens the demarcation line on grow out allowing longer between colouring appointments.
Technique used combined a mixture of highlights, teasy lights, lowlights and tipouts finished with a soft face frame. The overall result is a seamless blend with neutralised tones so we wont get the brassy grow out that can happen when using permanent on grey hair.

Colour correction -
Correcting warm roots and uneven tone. Every single piece of hair was coloured 😅
Low lights were added between every highlight to bring depth and contrast back in to the hair. Finished with a root tap and icy toner to balance out tone and give a clean finish.
There was lot of breakage in this clients hair so a strand test was carried out prior to make sure we didn’t compromise the condition further.
