Always such a joy to transform this lovely ladies hair. As you can see it had been a while, but definitely worth the wait, if nothing else just for the satisfying snaps! 📸

Wow what a change today! Lovely undercut and of course a load of blue and pinky flashes because let's face it, why not? In love with this fun transformation! 💙💗💜

I don't usually post about subjects like this, mostly because I have little to no in depth knowledge of the topic, but this post from really took me by surprise!

After actually looking at the article and doing some quick research, it seems like alot of the events over the past year or so have quite significantly influenced this situation, unsurprisingly.

I think we're all (hairdressers and clients alike) still re-adjusting to life as normal and finding our feet. I must say how incredibly lucky I am with my clients; I know I often chat chat, chat chat chat and feel I can be very honest and open about anything with my clients. However this isn't the case for all hairdressers.

The take-away from all this for me personally is to really try and remember that anyone working in the service industry in any shape or form (or anybody in any industry for that matter), may be struggling behind the scenes, or having a bit of a low day, we're only human, so to offer an ear to just listen, be kind and patient.

I'll be the first to admit how difficult this can be, I can be impatient at the best of times, but for some reason this has really brought to my attention the importance of (now more than ever) we all need to, wherever possible. Be kind.

I just had to share these wonderful words of wisdom from the one and only Vidal Sassoon after they appeared on my feed today.

I've been really neglecting social media posts and all the before and after shots since going back to work a couple of weeks ago, because quite frankly like many of us hairdressers I'm either shattered or quite simply I've just forgotten to do so!

With that being said, and with the uncertainty of re-adjusting after the best part of of 4 months 'out of hair' I can safely say no truer words are more relevant to how gratifying it is to be re-connecting with people and to be finding our (somewhat achy) feet again! ❤️

160+ messages and calls today and I'm done 🤪. I'm not accustomed to all this work lark as of late 🤣.

So we finally have some light at the end of this tunnel! Thank goodness!

So if everything goes to plan I will be back in the salon the week of the 12th of April. Whilst I'm hopeful and confident that this date won't change I'm holding off confirming appointments until a couple of weeks before just in case this changes.

I am however provisionally creating a list of appointments and working through bookings that were cancelled throughout January to present in order to keep things as fair as possible. With this in mind I will not be taking new clients until I've caught up.

I can't wait to get back to it and see you all, there's going to be much to catch up on! Please bear with me as I work through all the messages and texts I promise I'll get back to you all.

Hi Everyone! (Here we go again). Talk about the cherry on top of the metaphorical cake of 2020! 🤦‍♂️

I'm sure you've all seen that Gloucestershire is now in Tier 4. As a result of this I will not be at work until further notice.

I will not be taking any new bookings for now until I get a confirmed return to work date so as to offer all of my January bookings first refusal when I return. I will be in contact with anyone booked in for January as soon as I have a date for this.

Fingers crossed this is over sooner rather than later. Here's to 2021 being filled with much more positive news!

Even though it's not quite the same this year, I hope you all see in the new year safely and with plenty of cheer! 🎉🎉

🎄🎄🎄 Well that's me done for the year, and what a year it's been!

I'd like to thank all my clients for their support, patience and understanding during this difficult and uncertain year. 2021 will hopefully be very different.....

I'll be back on the 5th of January fresh and ready for a more positive few months, fingers crossed 🤞
