Here’s a few frequently asked questions for anyone looking to get extensions

Q- Do they cause damage to your hair?
A- No. the Nano and Micro tip methods don’t cause damage to your natural hair when fitted by a qualified specialist. These methods are found to be some of the least damaging to your hair if you follow the proper aftercare advice. These methods do not require heat or glue to secure them in your hair and don’t require the use of acetone on removal, therefore they are gentler and kinder to your natural hair.

Q- Can I still get these extensions if I have thin hair?
A- Yes. For thin hair the best option is the Nano tips. Nano tips have been crowned one of the smallest bonds available and are 90% smaller than others. These are available in a range of colours so can be easily matched to your root, meaning they are even more unnoticeable in your hair, even those with thin hair!

Q- How long do the extensions last?, Do they require maintenance?
A- Nano tip hair can last between 10-14 months if the aftercare advice is followed correctly.
Maintenance for Nano tips is required every 3-4 months for the hair to be refitted.
A- Micro tip hair can last from 6-8 months if the aftercare advice is followed correctly.
Maintenance for Micro tips is require every 6-8 weeks for the hair to be refitted.
**for this with thin or oily hair, the extensions may require more frequent refits**

Q- How much do the extensions cost?
A- The cost of the extensions vary and therefore a consultation is required to get and exact price. The length and thickness, as well as your colour match can influence the price of the hair.
When a colour match is done multiple colour rings are used to get the exact colour, these are from different suppliers. Each supplier has a different price range and a colour match is required to determine which supplier is required for your hair.
