Why do we go to a nail technican or hairdresser?

Is it because we can’t manage our own hair or nails ourselves? That we need help from experts in their respective field.

I myself am blessed with long, thick, straight hair. I am lucky. It’s hereditary. I wash it every 7-10days. Never use products, only ever use a hairdryer, but use a hairdresser to cut my length. My fingernails ,on the hand, (excuse the pun) are a totally different story. They grow , but since a teenager they have never been strong. Always needed attention. Thankfully being a nail technician for 25yrs , I have been fortunate enough to attend to my own nails. If I didn’t enhance them with my systems of fibreglass or Plexigel , my hands would look awful and I’d have to seek help.

So your technician can help you achieve beautiful looking nails 💅🏻 or hair, but you have to do a little work between appointments yourself, oiling nails daily and attending maintenance regularly. Especially in spring/summer months when your nails will grow quicker. If removing professional work that’s been applied, you must be sure you can do this without damaging. So remember, your technician can hopefully help make your hands and nails look presentable, but equally you must do your bit.. If it was the case you had strong, healthy nails you wouldn’t be seeking our help in the first place ..
