Final day of my curl course. I chose my beautiful model Elizabeth because her hair was out of my comfort zone. We were both thrilled with the results. I’ve loved every minute of being here, learned so much, met some amazing people and had the best teachers. I’m coming home bursting with creativity! Can’t wait to get back behind my chair.

I’m in New York to indulge my curl geek. I’m spending a couple of days learning under the expert guidance of the great curl authority that is Lorraine Massey (creator of the Curly girl Method). Today I learned about cutting hair a curl at a time and the intricacies of cleansing and conditioning different curl types. I never stop learning and growing as a hairstylist and I feel very privileged to be here. Can’t wait to go home and try out my newly acquired wisdom.

Headfirst are looking for a passionate, senior level 3 beauty therapist to join our friendly salon. We are offering a competitive salary with flexible hours for the right candidate.

We are a small but busy salon with a close knit team, based in Wivenhoe high street. We offer a calm and relaxed environment for our clients.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for the beauty industry, delivering professional treatments and maintaining a customer focus.

We offer the following treatments, using Dermalogica, The Gel bottle inc, OPI and the gel bottle inc.
Massage, waxing (including intimate female), facials, lash lift, gel manicures and pedicures.

Job role to include
Stock management
Managing diary/rota
Salon admin
Social media
Maintaining standards of salon hygiene

Hours minimum 20 p.w Flexible days
Wage £12-£14 ph
