I need to share something with you.
I have twenty three consultations booked in for June alone. And I love that. I am genuinely grateful that so many of you trust me with your skin and your time.
But I have to be honest with myself too.
A consultation with me isn't just a chat. It's a full skin assessment, my clinical knowledge, my honest advice, and a personalised plan whether you book a treatment or not. That takes time. And right now I'm giving away around twelve hours a month for free.
So from July, I will be introducing a small consultation fee of £30.
That fee comes straight off your treatment if you go ahead and book. Or if skincare is more your thing right now, it can come off a product instead. Either way, it doesn't go to waste.
If you already have a consultation booked with me in June, nothing changes for you. You are covered.
For everyone going forward, I hope you understand. My time and my expertise have value and so does yours. A consultation fee means I can keep giving every single person who sits across from me my full attention.

When did video calls become the thing we dread most about working from home.
You're sitting there trying to concentrate on what's being said and all you can see is yourself. In that little box in the corner.
The lighting isn't kind. The angle is all wrong. Every line, every shadow, every bit of tiredness in your face just sitting there staring back at you for the whole call.
And you find yourself thinking is that really what I look like?
I hear this more and more from women who come to see me. They'll say something like I never really noticed it until I started working from home and then suddenly I'm on camera every day and I can't unsee it.

Four years ago today I walked into a wee rented room in Coleraine and thought right. Here we go.
No big launch. No grand plan. Just me, my training, and a lot of hope that women in this area would give me a chance.
That's where it all started.
It wasn't much. But it was mine. And every single client who came through that door in the early days thank you. You took a chance on me and I have never forgotten that.
Four years later this is where we are now.
A proper clinic. A space I'm genuinely proud of. Treatments I love doing. Clients who have become familiar faces some of whom have been coming to me since that very first room.
I won't pretend it's been plain sailing. Building a business alongside full time nursing is hard. There have been stressful days, late nights, moments of self doubt and more than a few times I wondered if I was doing the right thing.
But then a woman sits up in my chair and smiles at herself in the mirror.
And I remember exactly why I started.
To every client who has trusted me with their face over the last four years thank you from the bottom of my heart. You are the reason I show up. You are the reason this little business is still going and still growing.
And to all my family who have supported me i couldn't of done it without you.

There's a reason for that. And it's not because I don't have them.
Most of the women who come to see me are private people. They don't want their face on social media. And a big part of that if I'm being honest is that they don't want people to know they've had anything done.
That's completely their right. And I respect it every single time.
Think about it. These women are coming to me because they want to feel better about themselves. That's a personal thing. A private thing.
So I ask. Every time. And if the answer is no — that's the end of it. No pressure, no negotiation.
What I will never do is post someone's face without their full permission. Ever.
I know it makes growing my page harder. Before and afters perform really well on social media and I'm well aware of that. But my clients' trust matters more to me than my follower count.
