Michael Martindale thankyou so much for all your help regarding this matter. We can't thank you enough really. You highlighted this matter with the words we could never find and we just hope now that this will come to an end for every hard working business in Northern Ireland who really does not deserve to be targeted.
I always try to keep a low profile on here and we don't post much but I really do feel I need to highlight this matter on behalf of Harun and my Turkish staff.
For those who maybe don't know, any turkish person who enters the UK has biometric testing and this continues every 30 months.
No Turkish person is entitled to any access to public funds i.e. benefits free housing, hospital care etc.
Depending on their visa they will pay approximately £2500 + for your visa to be renewed - again every 30 months and this does not include solicitor fees.
This can go on for 10 + years and if they are very lucky then they will get the right to remain in the UK after this.
They also have to take written tests that most of us couldn't even answer about Life in the UK.
So when you see them working 7 days a week I can assure you, its not just because they enjoy what they do but it's to pay the huge cost they are required to pay to remain in the UK.
I hope this clarifies a few points on their behalf. You are targeting the wrong people. We have staff working here also who were born in Coleraine and myself who was born in the UK.
We are a family at KTA, always have been and always will be and we are proud of that and our community, friends and loyal customers who have stood by us the last 10 years.
Let's just hope this stops now for every legal hardworking business who is just trying to get by like everyone else.

Due to the events of last night we have no choice but to close early this evening. We will close at 6pm sharp in order to get our staff home safely due to impending troubles again this evening
There are no words, we are just devastated about what has happened but apart from sign damage everything else is intact.
