MYTH - ALL FILLERS LOOK THE SAME AND UNNATURAL!

I get this one a lot! Prior to treatment I always get asked if it is possible to have lip fillers that can still look natural… the answer is yes! With the correct product and quantity this can easily be achieved.

Over the years we have become more aware of people who have had dermal fillers mainly because of the obvious change in their appearance. This can understandably cause a lot of people to be put off having fillers.

Having fillers for the first time can be very daunting and it is important that you know exactly what to expect when having them done.
The desired look and amount of filler used is entirely up to my clients. This will always be discussed at your consultation appointment prior to any treatment.

If it is your first time being treated by myself I will only administer the required amount of filler to enhance your lips according to you and what you want. I frequently check with my clients throughout to make sure these expectations are being achieved.

Yes I can change lip shapes such as enhancing Cupids bows, correcting asymmetry, adding more volume to the upper lip but I can still do this naturally.

Repeat business has got to be one of the biggest compliments in this industry. I have recently had the pleasure of treating this lovely lady again.

When I first treated this lady, she had never had filler before and wasn’t sure if she was going to like the results. I used a fine low viscosity filler to be sure there was a subtle natural enhancement which she was very happy with.

After loving her lips, she returned months later wanting more volume this time around. I used a higher viscosity filler to achieve this and just look at the results! 🤩

Myth Busting:

MYTH 3 - When My filler wears off, my skin will be stretched and it will look worse than before.

🧬I get asked this a lot, especially prior to lip fillers. Many people worry that once their fillers wear off, the skin in the area will sag and loosen. But this is not the case. Yes, the product will eventually dissolve. But your skin will go back to exactly how it was before you had the fillers. It’s entirely up to you whether you then return for further fillers.

🧬How it works; Dermal fillers are a gel-like substance that can be injected under the skin to restore lost volume, smooth lines, soften creases or enhance facial contours and features.

🧬Hyaluronic acid is a substance our body naturally produces. This is why Dermal Fillers are great for volumising because of the hydrophilic (water-loving) 💦 nature of hyaluronic acid. The acid attracts and draws in water which keeps skin moisturised and plump. However, this is why fillers eventually dissolve. The Hyaluronic acid in fillers gets absorbed within the body hence why fillers need to be maintained to keep the desired look.

❔ So when is the best time to have a little something done to ensure the results from your treatments are in full swing by the time you break up for Christmas? ❔

💉 Choosing Anti- Wrinkle and or Dermal Fillers two weeks before your special event is generally an adequate amount of time. If you have used Anti-Wrinkle or Fillers in the past and know your individual results, a few days may be plenty of time for you.

👄 You will see filler results immediately. However, you will be a little swollen and full results can take up to two weeks, all bruising/ swelling should have settled by then.

💉Anti- Wrinkle treatments take 10-14 days for full effects, however I request a 2 week review and therefore advise 4 weeks prior to any special event for this treatment.

A subtle natural enhancement for this beauty. This lovely lady felt her top lip disappeared when she smiled so we made sure that this was no longer the case. We created a more defined Cupid’s bow and added volume to both upper and lower lip keeping that golden ratio! All created with 1.0ml 😍
