What a day! Yesterday was DAY 1 of the Moroccanoil Salon Ambassador Programme and it did not disappoint 💫 It was so inspiring to meet everyone who also qualified! Being surrounded by so many talented, passionate, like-minded people was unreal 🫶🏻

It was an incredible day from start to finish, and I would like to say a huge thank you to the amazing team for making this happen and for choosing me to be a representative for Moroccanoil! So incredibly grateful ✨🩵

Sorry for the little hiatus, loves. I’ve just been a tad busy - getting ENGAGED! 💍
My heart is so full 🥰 I can’t wait to get back into my socials again, so many of you have been loving the content lately, and so I’m sorry I’ve been a little MIA. But we are back and I can’t wait to show you everything I’ve been working on🩵✨

My client has been coming to me for years now, but has tested against all colour brands I have offered 😣 after years of skin testing her to no change, I switched to . We tested her instantly and lo and behold she had NO REACTION! 🥳 We were both SO excited because now I could finally do her colour!! 🥂

As she couldn’t get her colour done professionally, she had been colouring her hair at home using box-dyes. I knew there was going to be a good few layers to get through 😅
So I also carried out a strand test to give me some idea of how the first time lifting would go. I was SO PLEASED!! 👏🏻 She made sure to not colour her hair for a good few MONTHS before her appointment with me and this allowed for a slightly easier lift 😍

The end goal is a honey blonde, but we are so so happy that to get to the level we have got to only took TWO SESSIONS!!*

*Please bear in mind, everyone’s hair is different. While it may have only taken this client to get from the starting point to the final result in two sessions, this is NOT the case for everyone.

These are THE aftercare tips I give all my clients after their appointment.

1. We all know too much heat is damaging to your hair - it also causes premature colour fade. Use a heat protect with UV protection to help protect it against sun damage as well.

2. And when I say “lightly” I mean 1 pump each day. You want silky hair, right? Oil.

3. You spend £140+ on your colour, why are we then watching that run down the drain by using non-professional brands? Yes, they cost more, but you get what you pay for. There’s a reason your colour didn’t last, or your hair doesn’t feel as good as when you have your hair done at the salon. Ask me for recommendations. I’m always here to help!

4. If you have any warmth added into your blonde or want that creamy colour (which is the majority of my blonde clients), there is NO NEED to be using purple shampoo. Only used if advised. Instead, use a sulphate-free colour care shampoo and conditioner. That’s all you need to be using for your colour.

5. Booking your next appointment is insurance that your colour and will stay fresh. Although the beauty of having a balayage sometimes means going longer between appointments, you still should pre-book to maintain that flawless colour.

Remember, your hair is an investment. Take care of it 🤍✨🫶🏻
