Why I started Mollylocks…

I first had hair extensions when I was 13! I fell in love with the confidence it gave to me, I felt like I transformed over night 😆🥹! Even at such a young age I knew how much I loved them and to now call it my job is a dream come true ✨

I trained to become a hairdresser when I left school as my passion was always in hair. I would do my friends hair as young as I can remember, colouring, cutting in fringes at sleepovers, no one knew what they were going to leave with when they came to stay at mine 🤣 I just loved experimenting and had confidence with it! It always came natural to me as a lot of the women in my family have all been hairdressers and I thought I knew what I was doing even back then! It was the best decision I made training and it’s got me to where I am today even if I had to leave to come back.

I have had every method of hair extensions. I first started with glue Wefts, then I went on to clip ins, a braided weave, glue bonds, micro bonds, tapes, an La weave & now nano bonds! I have personally trialed and tested most of the popular methods on the market! I know how they feel, how to maintain them, how to style them, which ones work best for my own hair & also others! There is a method for every person and hair type!

Now doing hair extensions on a daily basis I have perfected my skills (I am still learning new things daily) and I love it even more than when I first started. The happiness it gives to myself and my clients is priceless and a true pleasure! I can help you feel this amazing too, I offer free consultations where we go over your hair type, how you would like your hair to look and feel, your daily routine & your budget 🫶 It really does transform the way you feel about yourself… be warned it is also highly addictive in the best way possible, sometimes I don’t know who’s excited for new hair day, more me or my client 🤣🫶!
