Morning All

Firstly let me say that last week was a week of lows and absolute highs for me - the loss of a friend, the most beautiful wedding of my bestie and the 40th of my partner in crime Hair with shani x 🥰

Back in work today and it’s a busy jam packed week before I take a much needed week off.

I will be off work from Monday 27th July and will be back in on Tuesday 4th August.
I currently have no spare appointments this week but if I get any cancellations I will post them.

Today we say goodbye to our wonderful client and friend Nitu 🌻

The salon will be closed from 12:45pm until 2pm today.

Evening All

Today has been an emotional one for both me and Hair with shani x in the salon.

We received news on Wednesday that our beautiful client and friend Nitu was taken into hospital in a critical condition.

We have kept her in our thoughts and prayers but unfortunately today we have been informed by her family that she had “deteriorated massively” and last night they turned off her machines while surrounded by her family.

I can’t express how sad this makes us, she was one of the most beautiful souls I’ve ever met. A vibrancy for life, a positive mindset and ready to make waves if needed.
We loved to hear all her stories and where her next journey was about to take her, life can be so cruel at times.

Nitu has been a massive part of our salon culture, whether she was in having her hair or nails done chatting away or if you were fussing her dog yoda, once met you weren’t forgetting her.

The salon is open and I have got fans in place but please remember it is hot out and I will be trying to keep the temperature as low as possible inside.

Some beauty/aesthetic treatments may have to be rescheduled depending on where the temperature is rising too - your safety and you being comfortable is paramount 🥰

Tattoo removal

All treatments that cause heat or can cause swelling in connection with the heat.

I hope everyone is having a lovely Sunday, just a little reminder (I’m sure I’ve bored everyone with this already 🤭)

I am having a few days away this month, starting on Thursday 11th June and I will be back in work on Tuesday 16th June - it’s my friends hen do!!!!

I am in work everyday until then with a very full diary 🥰 if I get any cancellations I will post them but at the moment I’m full until I return.

Due to an underground power fault in the local area the salon has no power today.

I have contacted all clients booked in and hopefully we can get everyone in and sorted as soon as possible.

The fault started at 4am and should hopefully be sorted by 4pm today causing no disruption to tomorrow’s appointments.

As you can imagine this is not what today needed as I go away myself soon and have little to no availability (which is amazing) but I will try my best to get everyone sorted.

So here I am 42, makeup free and filter free exposing my biggest self conscious area, my under eyes!!!
