I am salon owner at Blonde hair salon Nantwich where I specialise in all things Blonde, balayage and hair extensions.
Let me save you the time and back ache of a full head highlight and still not feeling Blonde enough!
Sometimes all we need is more of a balayage to connect the highlights through the top with the darker hair underneath. In this clients case we rarely colour the underneath but her new extensions just did not connect and match unless we did some serious blonding. Balayage and tipping out as much of the underneath hair as possible to create connection and blend.

20 years in hairdressing and these are some of the things I’ve learnt so far…
✨ Confidence comes with time, the more you learn and make mistakes the better hairdresser you become. Don’t think I don’t second guess myself still sometimes
✨Client relationships are super important. Some of my clients I have had for nearly all of my career. They have grown with me over the years and creating those relationships gives me the basis for my business to succeed.
✨ Consistency beats talent. You could be the most talented stylist out there but if you don’t keep showing up and running your business in a way that is consistent and reliable then you will get nowhere. Being consistent builds trust.
✨ Sociql media changed the game for me. When I first became self employed I was working out of hairdressing doing a summer abroad and when I came back I wasn’t sure where to start. Anytime I did hair even if it was family I posted about it and sure enough my business boomed using Facebook alone. Fast forward a few years I used both Facebooo and Instagram to promote myself to grow my salon

How to fill your column without constantly discounting ✨
One thing I’ve learned after 20 years in hairdressing…
The busiest stylists aren’t always the “best” stylists.
They’re the ones who:
✔️ market themselves consistently
✔️ build strong client relationships
✔️ create an experience
✔️ retain clients properly
✔️ show up online regularly
Social media has changed the industry massively.
People buy into PEOPLE now — not just hair photos.
If I was starting from scratch tomorrow, these are the exact things I’d focus on first.
