Polish stubbornness: 1, Scottish heat: 0 💪🏃‍♀️🥵

Last Sunday I ran 21km / 13.1 miles for Macmillan Cancer Support in 2h 18m. I’m a strong Polish girl — trained through snow, rain, and all of Scotland’s moods. I was ready for anything… except 22°C. That’s not weather, that’s betrayal ☀️

BUT I actually loved it. Yes, I walked a bit while aggressively chewing energy gummies like they owed me money. Yes, I high-fived every kid on the route because their energy was my energy. And yes, the crowd all over the course kept me going. A phone call received through my laud speaker, while running uphill, added extra energy into many people😅

Best part: every pound from the salon is now on JustGiving and we raised *£649* for Macmillan! So the gummy-fueled, high-five-powered shuffle was worth it.

On 24th May 2026 I’m running the Edinburgh Half Marathon! 🏃‍♀️💨

I’m doing it for Macmillan Cancer Support — a charity that does incredible work for people living with cancer and their families.
