Welcome Sally to Team Lotus! 🪷

Hayley has known Sally for many years, as a wonderful customer in treatments & joining her on the mat for yoga classes & workshops. Last year, Sally arrived at a class with Hayley and said “Hayley, can we talk?” The simple answer from Hayley was yes & there began a conversation with Sally about a whole career change & which educational route was best for her in training in therapies.

Skip forward a year, Sally has now qualified as a Level 3 Holistic Therapist. Here is a little about Sally. Sally’s midwifery career spans over 30 years. As a Registered Midwife, she loved her career from the very beginning. Her favourite area to work as a midwife was always on labour ward working one to one with women and families to provide expert technical care and empathetic, caring support. Following on from the pandemic, Sally missed working directly with people and that human contact she got from physically seeing and caring for people. This is why she has the already made skills and qualities in starting her brand new career in Holistic Therapies. Sally is a nurturer, and we love nurturing at Lotus Health & Well-being!

Sally loves Yoga & met Hayley as a teacher and therapist. Sally says of Hayley “that she is an inspiration. She is extremely professional & has created a beautiful therapy business She always tells me she absolutely loves her job – that is the most beautiful advert for the career I have embarked upon!” Hayley sees Sally as an inspiration herself, not only to serve in the NHS for all those years but to reinvent herself. Sally will be joining Team Lotus on Mondays & Wednesdays and will offer extra days when needed at weekends. In addition, Sally is offering treatments on Mothering Sunday.

Emma has beautifully introduced herself today and I’m super delighted she is now part of the Lotus team 🪷

I’ve known Emma for a over a year now, she’s been keeping my hands and feel presentable on the mat and in the treatment room. From one therapist to another, we chatted loads about the life of the self-employed one woman bands and of course dogs! I’ve had snuggles with her cute fur-babies, Bella & Lola, pictured here 🥰 🐾

Beauty treatments at Lotus has been a popular request so when it came to who, well Emma was the one and only person I wanted to join us. I asked her back in November, of which her reply was “I was going to ask you if I could join you”. So the stars aligned and destiny became our friend 💫

Emma will be offering her beauty treatments on Wednesdays and Fridays, including a late evening offering to 8:30pm on Wednesdays. All of her treatments are now available to book in 3 different categories. These are:

Hello my lovelies, I’m Emma the owner and therapist of ‘The Little Beauty Shack’.

I have treated over a thousand different clients over the years, specialising in many different massages, facials, waxing, tinting, lashes, gel nails, manicures and pedicures.

At the age of 16 I trained in level 1 ,2, 3 beauty therapy. I entered a beauty nail art competition and came 2nd which meant I went to the beauty worlds competition for therapist all round the uk which was very exciting to experience.

My first job was at Champney Springs then i moved onto a little salon before starting my own business in 2016.

The best thing I ever did was to start my own little business 8 years ago, it’s my absolute baby! I adore what I do and adore making people feel amazing.

Now to be starting a new journey working with Hayley for two days a week.
