I wasn't able to participate on yesterday's 'A day in your life' but I am back for today's

🍃 When I was thinking about it, I can say that I love to make all of my soaps even though the process is almost the same. But if I had to choose I would prbably go with my Chamomile soap and The Tropical Storm soap. The reason is that both have such a nice smell and both are very manageable when cooked and transferred to the moulds.Not all of my soaps are so easy going when it comes to tranfering them to the mould and it depends highly on the additive ingredients.
🍃 While my soaps are curing for a few weeks, I have time to crochet my washing cloths and washing cloth mittens, which I enjoy as much as making soap! I think I need more than one craft to keep me busy 😆

🌼My uniqueness is in ⏩
🍃 the hot process method which is used rarely these days to make soap. I cook (saponify) the soap first (I mix the oils, liquids and sodium hydroxide (NaOH) and let it become soap) and then on the end I add all the precious ingredients that I don't want to come in the contact with the NaOH (it creats really harsh environment, but once the soap is cooked the NaOH disappears). This way I ensure the best quality of the soaps and the ingredients in them.

🍃 I use 70% of saponified olive oil - the oil transformed to soap. Olive oil is the most gentle to our skin when comes to soap. It cleans well, but leaves the skin soft and moisturized.
🍃 All my ingredients are pure and natural, no man made colours or fragrances. I use only plants, herbs, spices or clays for colour and pure essential oils for scent.
