Let this be a wake up call, the cash points on the strip were all down yesterday after the power cut across Spain. No cash, no cards working,nothing. Imagine being stuck like that with no way to pay for food or even get a taxi. All over the Facebook groups, people are commenting about the nightmare they went through, hungry, stranded, and desperate because they had no cash on them. This could happen anytime anywhere. Always carry a bit of cash. Relying on your card alone is leaving yourself wide open. Cash is King.
